A gift voucher for a rowing experience is an imaginative and unique present idea!
There are several gift vouchers available to choose from;

Cambridge Rowing Experience - £65
This is our signature rowing experience! It's aimed at complete beginners or those who may have rowed several decades back.

Adult 'learn to row' course - £185
This is the daddy of all gift vouchers! This encompasses the 'Cambridge Rowing Experience' and then 5 separate sessions.

Youth 'learn to row' course - £180
As with the adult course, this is for 5 sessions in total including the initial 'Cambridge rowing Experience'. Our youth courses take place during school holidays for children aged 14-18yrs. For more information, visit our Youth course page.

Past rowers, 1x water session - £30
This is a 2hr session aimed at those who have previously rowed in an 'eight' boat or taken part in a rowing experience with us. We will start the sesssion with a quick tour and recap of the rowing stroke. We then take the boat out and go rowing up the River Cam.

Past rowers, 1x water, 1x land session - £60
As above but with 2x sessions. The second session would be straight out in a boat with people of a similar level of experience.
N.B. Our e-vouchers will be sent to you by email so you can gift it to the lucky person. If however, you would like us to send it over to the recipient directly, we can arrange this also.
What does the Cambridge Rowing Experience day cover?

Introduction to the club and boats

Safety briefing

Then off to the gym to learn the ‘rowing stroke‘ on the ergs (rowing machine)

Next step, taking an eight boat out! This will be placed by the bank where you will grouped into pairs and be able to put the rowing stroke into practice by rowing on the river.

The group will be taught how to sit the boat (keep it stable) and how to follow the coxes calls.

All participants will then be taken to the boathouse to fetch their blades.

We then go rowing on the River Cam for the most memorable moment you will get to experience in Cambridge!
Select the number of people and you’ll receive a unique booking code for the lucky recipient to book a convenient date and time to join our crew for the day. Vouchers are valid for 9 months from date of issue.
